Our neighbor has goats and chickens. We have been trying to get together for ages it seems (really only a month or too!). I used the excuse of Tyler wanting to see the animals, but the truth is I need some friends that are closer than my town friends, with kids and some understanding of living in the middle of nowhere. My neighbor fits that bill to a "T'.
Tyler chased the chickens around for awhile and to our surpris
e caught them quite easily! She was very gentle with them!! In Tyler's words, "I am brave of chickens"! We had a really good time and hope to spend more time with our new friends!
Tyler was "brave of goats" too. This is Sadie the goat. Isn't she photogenic?!
Reese and her friend Mesa sat on the ground and scoped things out. It didn't last long before each of them went for a rock. Yeah, a rock... that is what they were after. Haha!!
No, Reese that isn't a rock. (as Mom puts the camera and down and runs to pick her up!!)
