Last Saturday we branded our calves. In the times of the Old West they branded because there were no fences to keep the cows in and the only way to identify the livestock was to brand them. Here in Wyoming the Old West still lives. Every spring we round up the cows and calves and continue tradition! I thought those of you (Missy!!) that don't have any idea what goes on at a branding would get a good laugh out of them!
